See how the angler above on the bow of the boat is leaning back for support against a metal bar? That thing’s called a lean bar, and we have them available on some of our boats at Andros South.
Lean bars are really helpful in a few different situations.
- They help folks who might have balance issues stand safely on the bow of the boat.
- They’re great for anglers who aren’t as ‘light on their feet’ as they once were.
- They’re nice for windier, rougher days when there’s some chop on the water.
Our lean bars are removable so there’s never any requirement that you use them – but for those who are interested we thought we’d pass it along!
