It’s one of the most challenging situations facing the spey angler.
Dealing with an upstream wind on river right? Nope.
Fixing your tailing loop? Negative.
Untangling your quiver of spey rods every time you get out of the boat? That’s the one.
Lucky for you, Tom Larimer is here today in HD video glory, to talk with you about a simple solution to your rod mating problems. You can thank us later.

This works great!! I use it on all rigged rods now-spin, flyrod, all of them ..Started doing it over 25 yrs ago.. Try pulling a baitcaster out of a bass boat rod locker after a 5 mile run on lake St. Clair.
10 minutes later after you have taken snips to every line on every rod in the box- just so you can get one out, you decide that there has to be a better way to do things..
For me its simpler to hold the end of the line that has the fly on it and slowly roll{turn} the rod to place the loose end over a stripper guide.
