Andros South Lodge is the legendary bonefishing destination on South Andros Island in The Bahamas, home of the finest flats fishing in the world.

Do you want to fish to giant schools of hungry bonefish? No problem. Have your sights set on casting to large tailing bones? We can make it happen. Wade sparkling white sand flats, pole remote mangrove creeks, hike to hidden inland lakes, discover remote cays, explore expansive ocean flats? It’s all right here.

Andros Island Bonefish

At Andros South our team has the knowledge of the flats and the skills necessary to provide you with the flats fishing experience of a lifetime.

If you’re looking for white linen tablecloths, you should look elsewhere. If you’re looking for clean, comfortable accommodations, outstanding service and the finest bonefishing in the world, you’ve come to the right place.

Our Lodge

Andros South is located on South Andros Island.  We fish for bonefish, barracuda, sharks and more, and we have opportunities for shots at permit and tarpon.  Guests stay at our lodge and go fishing with our guides out of flats skiffs.

South Andros Fishery

The fishery on South Andros Island is huge, varied and extremely productive. We fish 4 parts of the island – tidal creeks on the East Side, hundreds of small keys off the southern tip of the island, the West Side which is known for large fish, and inland ponds and creeks in the middle of the island.

Some areas tend to hold large groups of fish while others are home to larger fish in smaller groups; novice and expert anglers alike have a great time on the flats of South Andros. We have lots of opportunities for both wading and poling, depending on your preferences and conditions.

Our Accommodations

Our focus at Andros South is on providing the best fishing experience possible – an incredible fishery, great guides and excellent service – in an environment that we describe as ‘comfortable but casual’.

We are not a ‘luxury lodge’.  The location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is great.  The overall feel is relaxing and definitely not formal.

Rates

We offer trips of any length, starting on any day subject to availability.  Packages for the 2019/20 season range from 3 night / 2 day trips for $2,150 per person, to 7 night / 6 day trips for $5,200 per person.  Drop us a line for a specific quote.

Our pricing is really simple: it’s pretty much all-inclusive. Our prices include transfers to and from the airport, single-occupancy lodging (you get your own room), guided fishing with 2 anglers per boat, food, all drinks including beer wine and liquor, loaner gear and flies. Your only additional costs during the trip are travel to the island and gratuities for the staff.
