Today is National Shakespeare Day. A day for Shakesperean fans of the writer to celebrate his literary works and contributions of hundreds of words to the English language. Poetic, ain’t it? We are not sure if the word ‘raffle’ is one of his contributions, but for the sake of argument, we’ll say it might be.
‘Twas merry when you wagered on your angling; when your diver Did hang a salt fish on his hook, which he With fervency drew up.
Charmian, Antony & cleopatra
We are not exactly sure what the quote means, but what we are confident of is Captains for Clean Water & the American Fly Fishing Trade Association’s (AFFTA) Fisheries Fund have combined powers to raise money for a good cause – Protecting our Earth and the waters we fish in. All contributions will help fund the Bristol Bay Defense Fund and Captains for Clean Water. Both organizations are dedicated to protecting our natural resources and keeping them the way Mother Nature intended- natural. Your contribution will make a difference.
Bait the hook well, the fish will bite.
