For many of us fly fishing is an escape to flowing waters and beautiful scenery that allow us to diversify the normality of our mostly indoor and sedentary routines. Being outdoors serves as an escape for us to feel freer and more connected with nature.
People living with cancer and their families understand the impact the illness causes in their personal lives. Life plans change…school, work, and even vacations. For people stuck at home, who don’t have access to the outdoors, even a short walk outside can feel refreshing and alleviate stress and illness pressures. Imagine what a fly fishing retreat can do?
