We wanted to share with you another movie to help pass the time as this quarantine period continues to drag on. This film is one of the best documentaries I have personally watched. It was produced in 2008 by Felt Soul Media. The documentary looks at an issue that 12 years later is unfortunately still going on, the proposed Pebble Mine. With interviews from commercial fisherman, lodges owners, geologists, and executives from Northern Dynasty, the film takes a look at the multiple sides of the issue at hand while also incorporating incredible cinematography from the Bristol Bay region.
Travis Rummel and Ben Knight (the founders of Felt Soul Media) are no strangers to the outdoor world. Since Red Gold, they have produced popular films such as Eastern Rises, Unicorn Sashimi, Damnation, Denali, and Life Of Pie. Their projects have won awards at every film festival they have been apart of. The full version of the movie can be seen HERE! We strongly recommend taking an hour break at some point during your day to watch this documentary.
