On one of the last days of the season at Alaska West, repeat guest Terry Haines and AK West guide Evan Vick landed 2 incredible leopard rainbows on the K-Tok. These are the fish our homeriver has become famous for, gorgeous yet powerful. The first one was 25 and 1/2 inches on the tape and Terry’s personal best. This was later topped with a second beast tapped at a massive 27 and 1/2 inches! Evan had Terry fishing one of his “mega flesh flies” almost 7 inches in length on 10lbs fluro, working the fly near structure. Great work Evan and Terry on 2 fish of a lifetime landed on the same day!
