There is a group of ladies that have become veterans of the Kanektok River over the last few years. These fishy females come to Alaska West early season and show us all how to catch the mighty King Salmon on the swing. Check out this line up, Andrea Warner (has been fishing with us since 2010), Elaine Foxall (fishing with us since 2014), Kathy Whiting (fishing with us since 2010), and Harriet and Zoe Beckerman (fishing with us since 2015). As guides and lodge operators, there is no better compliment than having repeat guests. Every year these ladies show up and give all of the guys a run for their money! This group will forever be Deneki royalty, they are, The Queens who Play Kings!

Love this post! One slight correction though: as anyone who has fished with Andrea, Harriet, and Elaine knows (I haven’t had the pleasure of fishing with Kathy yet), these women aren’t just giving the guys “a run for their money” — they are outfishing the crap out of them! 😜🤣❤
