Early season at B.C. West is a pretty special time. Not only do our guests get the chance to battle the baddest fish in fresh water, king salmon, they get to chase Dean River king salmon, which like their steelhead cousins, are naturally selected to be even more powerful than your average chinook.
Spots during the beginning of our season typically fill up really fast, often locked up a year in advance, but we have good news.. We still have space open during the following weeks!
- 06/20/2015 – 06/27/2015 – Want a crack at the first chrome chinook of the season? This is the week to do it!
- 07/04/2015 – 07/11/2015 – How about a steelhead/chinook combo? Join us this week to target BOTH steelhead and chinook, above and below the Dean River Canyon, for one of our favorite weeks of the year!
- 07/11/2015 – 07/18/2015 – Historically, steelhead really start to pump in during this week, with chinook still present.
- 08/15/2015 – 08/22/2015 – Only interested in steelhead? This is prime time for steelhead on the Dean and we still have some space available!
