We’re well into April, and you know what that means…the month of May is all that stands between us and big, chrome, early season king salmon.
Big hooks and marabou can be found in abundance at Alaska West and BC West starting in mid-June. We’ve have a few openings for early season king fishing – why not, for example, join long-time Alaska West fixture Jeff Hickman for the mayhem that is week 1 at Alaska West? You get hot, bright fish, a dialed-in fishing program, and the chance to sample one of the premier king fisheries on the planet for an unusual 5 night / 4 day stay. You can pull that off, can’t you?
Anyhow, the months of April and May seem to last forever in the Pacific Northwest, and big hooks and marabou are just two of the reasons why.
