A really great part of the scene during king season at Alaska West is that super folks with the same passion come together at the same time for a special type of fun on the river.
So when a buddy (even if it happens to be guide Jim Palmersheim, who got handed a rod for a ‘test cast’) lands a nice chromer on a giant bar with room for a whole bunch of friends…yeah, we’re not embarrassed to say that everybody shares in the joy.
Your “coolest hero shot” is great. Also, I love looking at the jackets they’re wearing — obviously what works in your area.
