Rio Salvaje

Rio Salvaje is a small fly fishing and eco-expedition lodge located on the edge of the Hornopirén National Park and bordered by the Rio Negro in Southern Chile.

You’ll catch rainbows and browns, and maybe even some salmon during your adventure.

You’ll float and wade area waters like the Negro, which is born at Lake Pinto Concha and flows right past to the lodge, and the Blanco, a blue-green glacier-sourced river signified by its milky texture. And don’t forget the Traidor, Esperanza, Del Este, Marquita and Choigo, none of which will take you more than 90 minutes from the comforts of Rio Salvaje Lodge, but still afford you an incredible opportunity to experience the culture and natural beauty of Southern Chile.

Our season at Rio Salvaje runs from mid-January through March. At the end of the trip you won’t believe the fish you’ve caught and the country you’ve seen.  We look forward to showing you the best of Southern Chile!
