In recent years over 100 bears have vested the 1.5-mile Brooks River annually during the peak of the Sockeye Salmon run. In addition, Brooks River is not only known for bear viewing, but also for some of the best Rainbow Trout fishing in Bristol Bay. Brooks Camp is just a quick 15-minute floatplane flight from the lodge.
