March Alaska Fish Madness: Fish-Tastic Four

Rank Alaska’s Fish

It’s March, your bracket has already been busted, or at least ours is, so we figured, why not create a new bracket for Alaskan Freshwater Fish? As the NCAA Tournament selection committee meticulously ranks college basketball teams based on their performance and the NET evaluations tool, our selection committee (which is y’all) will rank Alaska’s freshwater fish with a simple system to determine which fish will be in the Alaska Fish Final Four. You rank each fish you enjoy the most to get to the net. Then we’ll tabulate the rankings to seed the Alaska Fish-Tastic Four, ultimately determining which fish will reign supreme.

Will it be the perennial, blue blood, with its bold red slash, the Rainbow Trout? Or perhaps the Grayling, with its big fin, pulls off an upset like a great Cinderella story. Do you still want to land the mighty Chinook? What about Pike? Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just starting, Alaska’s freshwater fish offer an adventure that’s sure to leave you hooked! Have a hack at it, and let’s cast our line into the world of Alaskan freshwater fishing, see which fish makes it to the championship round, and cut down the net.

Remember, it’s just for fun. We’re hoping for good games, no injuries, and no blowouts.
