Andros South Travel Update: No More Testing!

Andros Island in The Bahamas

Thank Goodness! The Bahamas will remove the Health Visa for all travelers. In addition, if you are fully vaccinated, you are no longer testing is no longer required.

In addition to eliminating the mandatory Bahamas Travel Health Visa, the Government of The Bahamas has announced that fully vaccinated travelers will no longer be required to submit to pre-travel COVID-19 testing to enter the country.

All unvaccinated travelers ages 2 and older will be required to obtain a negative COVID-19 test — either a negative RT-PCR test or a Rapid Antigen test — taken no more than three days (72 hours) before travel and present the negative test results at check-in before travel to The Bahamas. Changes go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, 19 June 2022. To read the full press releases, please see below.

Meanwhile, in the U.S. The CDC has announced that travelers will not be required to test for COVID-19 before returning to the USA.

All good things…let’s move forward!
