Here at Deneki Outdoors, we often have the opportunity to meet and work with all kinds of fantastic folks in the fly fishing industry. And we love it! Since 2014 the folks at Fishwest (fly shop) in Salt Lake City, Utah, have been bringing anglers to Andros South for a week of amazing flats fishing. Their host for their trip this year (and for many years in the past) is JC Weeks. JC is a fly fishing destination host and manages its two shops in Utah. If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet JC, you just can’t meet a nicer guy. JC is a consummate professional and the epitome of a fly fishing host.
Destination fishing trips can be tricky, and it’s nice to have some additional help to guide you from your front doorstep to the white sand beaches of South Andros. We’re taking this opportunity to give JC and his anglers a big shout-out and to say thanks! There are still a few openings in his week, so if you’ve been thinking about shaking off the cold and dreaming of fishing in the Bahamas, this might be the trip for you.
