This week at Andros South Lodge, we’ve been putting boats in the water, making schedules, fluffing towels, fitting linens, preparing countertops & dressers, sweeping floors, building rods, organizing flies, raking the yard, and stocking refrigerators & freezers. This Sunday is our opener and we couldn’t be more excited! Our team in The Bahamas has been making all of the necessary preparations to receive the first guests of the 2021/ 2022 season!
We’re so excited we can hardly contain ourselves! Late last season we received our new fleet of Hells Bay 17’ Professional flats skiffs, and yes, they have lean bars. Our guides are chomping at the bit to get them out on the water!
South Andros is vast and the fish are abundant. The interior of the Island is virtually all bonefish habitat, with numerous bays and channels and more cays than you can shake a stick at! Whether you like taking shots from the boat or getting out to stretch your legs, South Andros has it all! Our home in the Bahamas is known as the ‘Bonefish Capitol of the World’!
