The Bahamas is Open for Travel!

The Bahamas and Andros Island are open for travel, and good it’s good because the Andros South Lodge 2021/22 season opener is quickly coming upon us. With that Guests at Andros South Lodge and anyone else visiting The Bahamas, you will have to follow Pre and Post Travel protocols to ensure the health and safety of visitors and residents alike.

As of August 6, 2021, there are travel protocols for Vaccinated and Unvaccinated visitors. Please take the time to review protocols to ensure the best experience.

Pre- Departure & Arrival

Before Departing for The Bahamas…

  1. Vaccinated Travellers: You must have a negative COVID-19, either a Rapid Antigen Test or PCR (swab test), no more than five (5) days prior to the date of travel. Be sure the name and address of the lab where the test was perfomed is clearly displayed. For those who plan to travel among the islands, please note, Inter-island travel has other requirements which you can find here.
  2. Unvaccinated Travellers: All unvaccinated travellers 12 years old and older Must havae a negative COVID-19 PCR (swab test) only, no more than five (5) days prior to travel to The Bahamas.
  3. All travellers will be required to appply for the Bahamas Travel Health Visa and opt-in to COVID-19 health insurance that covers them for the duration of your stay. The cost of insurance is included in the Bahamas Travel Health Visa.

IMPORTANT NOTE for all Andros South Lodge guests: Antigen Tests will be available and conducted at the Lodge.
