Rapids Camp Lodge: Guides, Guests, and Bears

Guides Doing their Job and Netting Big Fish.

It’s Booming at Rapids Camp Lodge. All the fish are cooperating, the guides are putting the guests on fish, and guess what? Bears decided to join us. Fun fact…there are more bears in Alaska than there are people.

Bears are cool and we can watch them all day. At Rapids Camp Lodge, as part of the Fly-out program, you can visit Katmai Fall to watch the bears feast on salmon. If you’ve never seen it…it’s beyond a wonder.

Our Guides are hard at work. Our In-House staff is remarkable and most of all, our guests are awesome. And the bears…well, they’re being bears.
