Ah…Alaska West Lodge, oh how we have missed you. We are looking forward to fishing the awesome Kanektok River and having a chance at achieving the Alaskan Salmon Grand Slam. What is the Alaskan Salmon Grand Slam you ask? It is catching all Alaskan Salmon on the same day; King, Chum, Silver Red, and Pink. There are only a handful of places in the world you can achieve this and the Kanektok River is one of them. Let’s not forget, the ultimate championship…catch all the salmon and a Rainbow, Grayling, and Dolly Varden on the same day. We can only dream, for now, but at Alaska West Lodge, dreams can come true.
