Our season in Alaska is just around the corner, and we’re starting to get pretty excited.
Why? Because soon we’ll be back to scooping up King Salmon like this and we are very happy about that.

Darren Cleveland, President of NVK says
The local governments of Quinhagak passed an emergency order to prevent covid-19 from entering our village and region. Duncan’s, reel action, and Papa Bear are honoring our mandate. The Governor encourages those that want to enter a community that they make sure they abide the local mandates. Our mandate is extended until June 15, 2020 and could be extended before that date. No one is to enter the village that hasn’t established a resident of Quinhagak. There is no hospital and Quinhagak does not have the capacity to facilitate if there should be a case of covid-19. We are protecting our elders and children who are most vulnerable. All your clients are traveling from the states and nations and the risk of bringing the disease to our village is significantly high. We are asking all outfits to suspend 2020 sport fishing for both Kanektok and Arolik rivers. Please honor our mandate.
