Today, Friday May 15th, is the last day to tell the President to deny Pebble’s permit. At the end of the day today, the team at SaveBristolBay will print off the petition and send it in to the White House. Please take the time to make sure your name is on this petition. You can easily add your name here.
If you are on Twitter, please tweet @realDonaldTrump with a simple message: “Mr. President, I am a hunter/angler/outdoor enthusiast. Some places are too special for large-scale mining and #BristolBay, Alaska – a national treasure – is atop that list. Please stop the permit for the Pebble mine this year.”
We, along with thousands of anglers, hunters, and Alaskans, appreciate you taking the time to help protect one of the most pristine ecosystems on the planet.

Deny the permit. I remember Alaska as a young soldier at Ft Wainwright in 1959-61. I assisted Gordon Wear Master guide on officer sheep hunting trips on N Slope Brooks Range. I saw Porcupine Caribou in migration to Yukon. Save our only remaining frontier.
Best,
Dr Burl Self

Unfortunately for the world this imbecile whom your country put in place as your leader will suffer irreplaceable damage to all of the environmentally challenged areas of the US. Just take notice of the environmental laws he has already reversed! For Mother Natures sake vote this imbecile out of office in November. If not, kiss the nursery of salmon, steelhead & trout goodbye!
