At Andros South, we take great pride in being involved with the community and doing whatever we can to help out on the island. For the past couple years, we have been blessed to work with the students and teachers at South Andros High School on their community garden.
The school has an incredible agricultural program that plays a vital role in providing fresh produce for the island, our lodge included. Andros South Operations Mangers, Liz Fincher and Max Pushak, have watched this program develop and witness the pride the students take in it. Have you visited Andros South and enjoyed some fresh coleslaw, salads, or tomatoes? If so, than you have the students and teachers at South Andros High School to thank! We get excited for each week’s harvest!
Operating a fishing lodge outside of the United States has certain logistical tasks that can be more difficult than ones in our own country. That is why we are so lucky and grateful to be apart of a community as special and helpful as the one in South Andros.
