Jack Reis is back with another edition of Fly Tying Friday. With it being winter here, our minds are on warmer climates and hungry bonefish. Beck’s Sili Legs is a classic saltwater fly that gets it done on flats worldwide. It is quick to tie and looks equally good in the fly box and in the water. A favorite variation of ours for Andros South is using orange EP Fibers as opposed to chartreuse. As with all of our flats flies, we like to tie them in a range of weights. Be sure to have a couple with just bead-chain eyes for those windless days or the shallow feeders. A video of the original is below!
