How to Rig for Tarpon – Hatch Outdoors Video Series

how to rig for tarpon - hatch outdoors video series
Give it a watch below! Photo: Hatch Outdoors screenshot.

The good folks from Hatch Outdoors just kicked off their new how-to video series featuring detailed tips and instruction from some of the best anglers and guides in the biz. New videos are due to drop every Thursday all summer long, and if the first installment of the series is any indication of the level of quality insight to come, you’re going to want to stay tuned.

The first video of the series features our pal, Bruce Chard, on the finer points of building dependable (but surprisingly simple) leaders for tarpon. Don’t plan on fishing for tarpon? Don’t let that deter you.. The segment touches on fundamentals of leader design, construction, and materials relevant to other flats species such as bonefish and permit too.

So, kick back, grab another cup of coffee, and give the video a watch below for the most informative 22 minutes of your day.

Enjoy!
