As we’re sure you’re well aware, Hurricane Irma wreaked havoc throughout the Caribbean and Southeastern United states earlier this month as the largest storm ever recorded in the Atlantic.
While we consider ourselves fortunate to have experienced less damage on South Andros than was initially anticipated, many of our friends in the Florida Keys, particularly fellow fishing guides and their families, were not so lucky, and they need your help.
The fine folks at the Bonefish and Tarpon Trust has teemed up with the Guides Trust Foundation to support a special relief fund to provide assistance to Florida Keys fishing guides in need. Funds raised will be provided to Florida guides and their families by recommendations from the Florida Keys Guides Association and the Lower Keys Guides Association.
You can help out today by clicking right here to make an online donation (reference “Hurricane Irma” in the notes section). Or, feel free to send a check to Guides Trust Foundation, c/o Rand Holstead, 1800 Augusta Drive, Fourth Floor, Houston, TX 77057. (The Houston address will be used until regular mail service can be restored to the Keys).
