New Drying Tent

Drying Tent at Alaska West
New and improved. Photo: Kyle Shea.

If you’ve spent any time with us at Alaska West, you probably remember our drying tent, the small structure with a heater big enough to dry out our guests gear after a soggy day on the river.

If you haven’t spent time with us at Alaska West, but have picked up a pair of Simms Waders in the past eight or so years, you’ve probably even seen a photo of the inside of our drying tent on your warranty card.

Well, we’ve made a few improvements to our faithful drying tent, and we’re pretty excited about it.

Now, each of our guests are given their own personal cubby during their stay (a ‘rustic locker’ if you will) where they can not only hang up their waders, but just about everything you could possibly need for a day of fishing.

It’s the little things that add up to a comfy week of fishing, and we think our new drying tent is just another one of those things. Come see for yourself!

That drying room is awesome! Personal locker and dry, warm gear.
