The epic journey a steelhead or salmon make to be in that run; and the seemingly metaphysical miracle of us both being in that place at that moment when it goes for my fly.

I love #2, some people just don’t appreciate small catch which I think is stupid. Respect your catch whether it is big or small. It’s not the size that matters, it’s the fact that being able in the water…
