Today’s post is meant mostly for Power Users of our site – the folks who know their way around, read lots of our articles, and probably even contribute comments every here and again. But there’s something for the newcomers as well!
Our posts are categorized in a few different ways. There are more than 1400 of them right now, so it helps to keep things organized. Topics and Tags are probably known by a lot of you – if that’s the case, scroll on down to Multiple Tags for the new stuff…
No matter who you are, everything in today’s post only works if you’re on our web site. If you’re viewing this in a newsletter or a reader, click here to read this post and navigate around on our web site.
Topics
All of our posts exist in big categories that we call Topics. These correspond to our lodges and the basic type of post – for example, Alaska West, Guest Posts and Tips.
You can see the Topics listed under Blog Topics in the middle of our left-hand sidebar.
Tags
We put tags on our posts to make it easier to find other posts related to the same thing. Some of them are pretty broad, like spey, while others are pretty specific, like, say, Airflo.
Our most popular tags are listed in the left-hand sidebar, just under the Blog Topics. Pro tip: tags listed with bigger letters have more posts.
Multiple Tags
Here’s the new news for today. We just learned that you can also look at all the posts with more than one tag as well – and this can actually be helpful since some of our tags have many, many posts.
