Late August Fishing in Alaska

Summer is short in Western Alaska – our season at Alaska West ends at the end of August.

    Planning an early August 2014 trip to Pumice Creek on the peninsula for silvers. Anyone got suggestions for silver flies on that creek that early? Patterns? Hook size? Weighted/unweighted?

    Any info will be appreciated. Thanks!
