2012 was an amazing year at BC West on the Dean River. When your humble editor has to start editing numbers out of fishing reports, you know the fishing is good. It was the best we’ve seen on the Dean in years.
The dust has finally settled on our rebooking period, and as you might expect, almost everything rebooked full. The good news? We have space available in two of our weeks in 2013.
- June 22 – 29. There’s one spot available for the Superbowl of freshwater fishing – swinging flies for chrome bright Dean River chinooks. It’s not for the faint of heart, but if you want the really big pull, there’s nothing like it.
- July 6 – 13. We have three spots open for the first week in the season in which we operate our unique upper/lower fishing program, alternating days fishing above and below the Dean River canyon. In most years the hookup ratio at this time is something in the neighborhood of 2/3 steelhead, 1/3 chinook salmon.
If you want to fish the Dean next year, please drop us a line – we’d love to work with you on a trip to one of the most amazing fisheries on the planet.
