We catch an awful lot of silver salmon at Alaska West. We don’t count fish too much, but we like to call our silver fishery ‘numbers-oriented’. There are tons of them, and they love eating flies.
One of the great things about having a camp 6 miles from the mouth of a 90 mile river is that salmon swim by fresh from the salt – hot, chrome, aggressive and fat. That’s just the way we like ’em.
