At Alaska West, we have a drying tent – a small structure with a big heater where our guests hang up waders, raincoats and other outerwear at the end of their day on the water. We crank up the heat at night, and in the morning everything comes out warm and dry.
As you can see, it’s been around for a few years. There’s no mahogany in there– in fact, the floors are made of plywood. Like the rest of our facility it’s not fancy, but it’s one of those little things that all add up to make for a cozy week of fishing.
If you’ve purchased a pair of Simms waders in the past year or two, you’ve probably seen our drying tent already, pictured on your warranty card.
