Just thought I’d drop a line and tell you/ask you about an old AK West Calender I found. 1999 is the calender year, I remember my sister gave it to me as she knew I am obssesed with salmon. I just ran back across that calender and got me wondering if yall put out a calender still? This old calnder is full of greaq tpics and has a farewell letter from one of your guides “mongo”.
Anyhow a blast from the past – great site yall have and hopefully I will wet a line in the river up there.

Hey Jason, Thank you for the kind words and the blast from the past. It is amazing how things have changed. We created that Calendar in 1998 so people might use it and be reminded about Alaska West. Jeff Edvalds took the photos and I penned most of the text. It was a fun project. Today everything is internet based. Your computer or handheld device tells you what day it is. So we write this blog and post great photos to share with you via email. I had no idea what was in store when I wrote the caption… Angling Towards the Next Millennium or how much hair it would cost me. Mike
