If you’re someone or know someone who likes to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Bristol Bay is the place for you. It’s remote, and it takes some time to get there. There’s no one around to do your laundry or deliver freshly baked bread in the morning, so be prepared to be self-sufficient while working at this job as a guide. You’ll also have a lot of responsibility during these trips—not only are you responsible for guiding your guests through their remote fishing experience (or whatever activity they have planned) but also ensuring that they remain safe while doing so.
Working in Alaska as a fishing guide will give you a unique experience when it comes to guiding. You’ll see and experience things you’ve never done before. The fish and wildlife are plentiful, the area is beautiful and the experience will be remarkable.
