Travel Insurance: Just Do it

Destination travel is the name of the game. At Deneki Outdoors we’re all about travel, and not just to our family of lodges. Over the years, fly rods in hand, many of our Deneki Outdoors Team have traveled around the globe pursuing fly fishing experiences in some of the most remote locations, seeking adventure. Regardless of the amount of travel experience we have accrued, we can’t plan for everything. One thing this experience has taught us is to expect the unexpected and recommend you have travel insurance for any outdoor adventure. Having travel insurance protects you on a variety of levels if and when something goes array.

It’s called insurance for a reason. Travel insurance can cover nonrefundable expenses due to cancellations, delays, or interruptions; your baggage, equipment, and medical expenses including evacuation. Let’s be real, there are no two ways about it, adventure travel is expensive. make sure you’re covered in case something happens.

If you’re looking to go on any traveling adventure, whether it is at one of Deneki’s Family of Lodges or any other adventure, We strenuously urge you to protect yourself, both physically, and financially with travel insurance. When it comes to timing, it’s best to contact a provider as soon as you place a deposit on your trip to maximize coverage. Better yet, inquire about it while you’re exploring adventure options.

If you have a company already, great! If you need a recommendation check out both Global Rescue and Seven Corners. Both companies provide comprehensive travel insurance. No matter, who you choose, it’s best to get travel insurance ahead of your Adventure of a lifetime. Just do it, and travel with peace of mind.
