Andros South Lodge: Guides & Boats

Tailing Bonefish.

On South Andros Island, land and water intertwine. Mangrove cays, endless miles of sandy flats, and winding creeks and channels traverse the largest island in The Bahamas. bonefish and Baracuda swim these waters, and we’re more than willing to try and catch them.

Cute ‘Cuda.

Bahamian Guides have spent a lifetime on the water, learning the flow of the tides, the movement of the wildlife, and the deep connection between the two—the right waters; low spots with soft, steady ripples along the surface. Listen to your guide. If you do, your chances of catching the bonefish of a lifetime will be MUCH higher. We at Andros South Lodge are fortunate to have the best guides and staff on the team. They are the best of the best. Nobody knows Andros flats like the local fishing guides.

Not only do we have the best guides and staff, but We also have the best boats. And yes, they have lean bars. We take them off while running up and down the flats and cays. These Hells Bay Boatworks 17 foot Professionals are custom made for Andros South Lodge. From the custom paint color, decals, and other accessories, these boats are a great ride.

The largest island in The Bahamas, Andros remains virtually untouched.
