In Alaska, a day on the calendar doesn’t trigger Spring. It’s more of a sliding scale. In Alaska, you know it’s spring when you can feel the warm intensity of the sun. You know it’s springtime when snow berms melt during the evening. You know it’s springtime when windshield washer fluid is your best friend. All that to say, yes, it’s spring in Alaska, and we at Deneki Outdoors couldn’t be more excited about spring, the harbinger that it represents as the opening of the fishing season in Alaska.
Alaska West Lodge- A Fresh Perspective
This spring at Alaska West Lodge is very different than the last. Last year, we were caught between a rock and a hard place, and Alaska West Lodge was not operational. This spring, more than usual, we are overflowing with hope, anticipation, and excitement. We are all hands on deck at Alaska West Lodge for a full and fantastic season on the healthy and prosperous Kanektok River. Time puts everything in its place and provides us a fresh perspective.
Rapids Camp Lodge- Ready to Rock
Even before the pandemic, changes were being made to the Rapids Camp Lodge program to betterment an already good guest experience. It just so happens many of the changes were in line with recommended safety protocols and requirements. We took it up a notch to ensure there were no incidents and not undermine a safe and awesome guest experience. This year won’t be any different. Our main priority is safety, comfort, and a remarkable fishing experience, in that order. We are fit as a fiddle and ready to rock and roll into another great season in Bristol Bay, Alaska, at Rapids Camp Lodge.
Both Alaska West Lodge and Rapids Camp Lodge are well booked out. That being said, there are some spots available. So if you want to shake off what was all of last year as much as we do and have a hankering to fish in the vastness and grandeur that is Alaska reach out to us at (907) 563-9788 or email us at info@deneki.com for availability and more information.
