A Friend in need is a Friend indeed.
Last Friday one of our own was taken down by a massive stroke. Andrew Grillos is an Alaska West Alum and world-class guide/signature fly tyer who is very well known in the fly fishing industry. Andrew suffered a stroke and also had emergency surgery to remove clotting so he is going to face some very difficult times ahead.
Andrew’s good friend Nick English is coordinating/organizing a GoFundMe Fundraiser and it is going incredibly well so far. Nick has been updating Andrew’s struggles and accomplishments daily and passing messages back to Andrew. So far Andrew is fighting just as hard as we would expect him too and things are looking better daily for him, but it’s still going to be a huge task.
