Our fall season at Andros South goes from late October to January and boasts the largest average size fish of the year. With the slightly cooler water temps, the smaller “schoolie” bonefish move offshore while the trophy fish head onto the flats eager to feed. This is the time of year where we regularly see 10 pound fish and get shots at even larger specimens! Whenever you visit South Andros it is an unpressured fishery thanks to the seemingly endless number of sandy flats, but come in the fall and odds are the fish you are casting at hasn’t seen a fly in months. Below are 7 additional reasons why we think you should take advantage of the most underrated time of year at Andros South.
