As you can see, we have zero fun at BC West 😉 We are just wrapping up another great season at our lodge on the Lower Dean and can’t help but think back on some of the highlights and good times from the past 9 weeks. Like this fantastic fish landed by our friend Steve Reid back in week 4 (July 14-20). This fish was fresh out of the salt. For the lucky few of you who recognize this run, you know it is just up from the Ocean meaning Steve had a very hot fish on the end of his line. I’ll remember this as a great year at BC West, namely because I was able to visit such beautiful country and enjoy all of your company, but also for the fish, meaning big kings and some supersized steelhead. One of those fish, if I remember correctly, measured 39 X 19 and fought like it was in on a tide which, of course, it was. Thanks again for a great season and memories that don’t fade.
