Tying The Lulu Intruder

NOTE: If you’re viewing this in a newsletter or a reader, click here to see the video on our website.

“It will come as no surprise at this point that this week’s steelhead/king fly is going to involve a lot of movement. The Lulu is a combination of a number of popular patterns and can be fished to a whole host of different species if you vary the size. The keys here are the guinea ribbing and the Predator Wrap. In the river these materials combine for a great mottled look that fish cannot seem to resist. To top it all off, the rubber legs simply add to this fly that swims like no other.” Jack Reis
