Fishing in the cold? Here’s a little tip. Bring a micro fiber towel or just any small bathroom towel with you. I keep one stashed in my waders and use it to dry my hands after releasing fish. Wind on cold wet hands is brutal. Wind on dry hands isn’t quite as bad! It is always my little ace in the sleeve when guiding winter trips. Once the client releases a fish and the reality of the cold temps on his wet hands sets in, I surprise him with a dry towel. I keep a bag in my truck so I can bring out a fresh one after lunch as well. I hope this helps keep you a little warmer this winter!
