For those who have spent much time targeting Brown Trout, consider yourself lucky as they are a prized gamefish by anglers worldwide. Their beauty, attitude, and downright fussiness will leave you craving more the second after you release one.
Today we leave you with photos of two very different looking brown trout, caught in the same pool with the same fly, just minutes apart. They were both landed last weekend in a Wyoming River. (Fun Fact, brown trout are one of the most genetically diverse vertebrates. They are known to have between 38-42 pairs of chromosomes allowing lots of genetic variation to be present. For comparison sake, humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes.)
