Like us, we know many of you who check into our blog care deeply about the well-being of bonefish in the Bahamas. That’s why we try to share the latest in Bahamas bonefish conservation whenever possible!

Our pal and Director of Marketing and Communications for Bonefish and Tarpon Trust, Nick Roberts, recently put together a highly informative writeup for Patagonia’s The Cleanest Line blog recapping a weekend of bonefish conservation work with BTT team members, Dr. Aaron Adams and Justin Lewis.

The article addresses everything from the importance of conservation efforts currently in place for bonefish populations throughout the Bahamas, proper handling practices, along with some varsity level fishing tips from folks who have spent a lifetime studying bonefish behavior, and we think you should give it a read.
