We’ve been blogging about fly fishing for quite some time now, and today our humble little fly fishing blog reaches its greatest milestone yet..
Today is the 3,000th blog post here on the Deneki blog. Wow.
We really appreciate all of you who have stopped by our blog over the years, continually check in for your daily dose of fly fishing, or have been following along via our weekly email newsletter. We couldn’t have gotten this far without you.
So, thanks! Here’s to another 3,000.
Have an idea of what you’d like to see (or see more of) on our blog during the next 3,000 posts? Give us some input by leaving a comment below.

Congratulations.
To increase the odds of another 3,000 posts happening, the two yahoo’s up front should consider wearing PFD’s when under power.
Especially with the guy manning the stick in your picture. See if Country remembers his first day of guiding AK West.

Thanks Steve! Couldn’t agree with you more, ha. Certainly not SOP for Alaska West. Country has certainly not forgotten as I made sure to remind him today. Hope you’re well my friend!

Thanks Neil! Thanks for the kind words, and we’re super happy to hear you’re reading our posts. That’s the greatest compliment we could receive. Have fun out there!

Things are all good here Kyle and I’m already counting down the days until June when I can join with the fishing family under the midnight sun.
The previous post was half joke and half old dude who was once invincible but has recognized that preventing a problem is easier than dealing with it once it happens.
So Country confessed to turfing us on his first day? I never told anyone until now, didn’t want him to get in trouble. Absolutely hilarious. Big man was so damn happy to be out with a dude and made a tight corner. It was a bit of a bump; but boat, motor and people were just fine. If I remember right it was a darn fine day of king fishing!
It probably doesn’t get said enough, but I check in every day to get some fishing info that gives me a little boost of joy that carries through the daily toils of work/life to keep me going…. Keep up the great work!
