Been thinking about this for a while. If you have a rigged Cuda only rod in the boat, why not rig it (single handed rod) with a commando head and a floating MOW tip. Use an overhead cast (versus spey or skagit cast)? It would help bomb it out there farther with only one or two false casts) so you have more room to strip (two handed). Unlike bone fishing long distance casting are more important with Cuda’s since they tend to want to track the fly before striking. Thoughts?
