Happy Hump(y) Day

Cooper White with a pink salmon
Happy hump(y) day! Photo: Michael White.

It’s been a while since we’ve payed homage to one of our most under-appreciated fish species – The almighty pink salmon.

In our neck of the woods, pink salmon show up in staggering numbers every two years, every even numbered year to be exact. However, that’s not to say they don’t show up on odd number years as well.. We’re seeing quite a few pinks this season for an ‘off year,’ and we really dig it.

So, congratulations! You’re halfway through the work week, you’re almost over the hump, and what better way to kick off hump day than with a photo of our pal, Cooper White, with a ‘mega’ humpy from Alaska West.

Good work, Coop!
