On many rivers around the country, spring means run-off season, and with it means big water and cold water temperatures. Therefore, we thought it would a good time for a friendly reminder – Whenever wearing waders in, on, or around the water, please, wear your wading belt.
Everybody takes a spill in the river from time to time, and those who haven’t, well, simply haven’t been fishing long enough. A snug wading belt keeps your waders from filling quickly with water during an unexpected dip, and is one of the most important safety precautions that can be taken from anglers fishing in moving water.
So please, be safe out there, and cinch up that wading belt.
