One thing we think is really cool about our fishery on South Andros is that aside from the thousands of uneducated bonefish cruising or flats, there’s a whole bunch of really awesome wildlife to check out in between shots.
One creature that patrol our waters every now and again is the mighty hammerhead shark. We don’t see them very often, as they generally cruise around in water deeper than we target bonefish in, but every now and again some of our guests are lucky enough to get a look at one while running to our fishing grounds.
We don’t get many photos of them for obvious reasons.. However, last week our buddy Peter Brown was brave enough to stick his camera in the water for this killer shot (ahem.. which we don’t recommend). Nonetheless, we think it made for a pretty darn cool photo.
Great shot Peter!
